Copper ore characteristics:

The copper concentrate obtained after flotation also needs to be filtered, dried and packaged. The selection of these equipment can be selected according to the scale of the plant.
There are many forms and methods of tailings treatment. It is more common to use tailings dam before 1970s. In recent years, the newly developed tailings dry reactor equipment and technology developed by Dahua Company have been widely used, and the new equipment and new technology have been popularized and applied. The investment in tailings treatment of concentrator is greatly reduced.

Different types of copper ore processing technology:
1. Porphyry copper deposit:
Copper-Mo deposits, which are mainly accompanied by Mo, often exist in porphyry copper deposits. Because of their large reserves, copper deposits are not only an important resource for copper extraction, but also an important source of Mo. Because this kind of deposit has the characteristics of low grade of raw ore and fine grain size, and molybdate has layered structure and good natural floatability, it is often closely symbiotic with chalcopyrite and pyrite. Therefore, the recovery of molybdate from copper-Mo ore is more difficult and complex than that from ore dominated by molybdate, and the recovery of Mo is often restricted by the recovery of copper.
2. Mineral processing methods of copper oxide ore:
The main mineral types of copper oxide ore include malachite, silica malachite, blue copper ore, chalcopyrite, alum, water gallbladder alum, copper oxide and so on. The solubility of malachite and blue copper ore is relatively better than that of other ores. It can be recovered by direct floatation or vulcanization flotation. The floatability of silica malachite is poor, so its flotation is restricted by strict conditions. Chemical separation and floatation can be used to treat chalcopyrite, water cholinite and oxygen copper. It will be dissolved by pulp in flotation, so that copper loss in tailings is dominated by chalcopyrite and malachite, and the grade of copper in raw ore is high. The combined copper oxide is also treated by floatation method, which is characterized by extremely fine particles wrapped in limonite or mud, and the copper grade is low. If the gangue is silicate, it is difficult to be selected and can be recovered by chemical ore separation method.
3. Mineral processing methods of copper sulfide ore:
Copper sulfide ore can be divided into:single copper ore, copper sulfur ore, copper-pyrite, copper-molybdenum ore, copper-nickel ore, copper-cobalt ore, etc. There are different process methods according to different mineral types. Almost all copper sulfide ores have iron sulfides, so in a sense, the flotation of copper sulfide ore is essentially the separation of copper sulfide and iron sulfide.
